Papercuts Bookshop

PAPERCUTS BOOKSHOP is the award-winning, woman-owned independent bookshop located in beautiful Boston neighborhood of Jamaica Plain established in 2014 by publishing professional and former Borders bookseller, Kate Layte. From 2014-2019 Papercuts Bookshop began as a 400-square-foot book nook located at 5 Green Street Boston, MA 02130. In 2015, The Papercuts Anthology was published and we continued to published 3 more books under our house imprint, Cutlass Press. In January 2020, Kate relocated and tripled the size of Papercuts Bookshop a half mile up the street to a the corner of South Street and Carolina Ave where it has been thriving ever since. Our bookstore dog is Samantha and she's the sweetest beagle you'll ever meet. Papercuts was named BEST OF THE BEST by the Boston Globe in 2024.
