All orders placed with IndieBound come with a 30-day money back guarantee. You may return or exchange items purchased from IndieBound within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or a replacement in the event an item was lost or damaged in shipping. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error.
You can process a return or exchange by visiting our Orders page entering your order number or email address used for ordering and choosing the order from your Order History or by contacting us directly.
Gift Return Policy
The Online Returns Center allows gift recipients to return items even if the order wasn't marked as a gift when it was purchased. The type of refund or credit you receive depends on how the gift was purchased and how it's returned.
Your order number (or "Order ID") can be found on your packing slip or within the order confirmation email. If you don't have the packing slip or sender’s email address, you can contact us. We'll ask for information to help us locate the order, such as the sender's name, their e-mail address, their phone number, and information about the item you wish to return.
If your gift return is authorized, we will process your refund as an IndieBound Credit Code after your return is received. The Credit Code will be added to the account you used to generate your return from the Online Returns Center. Once the refund is processed, we'll send you a confirmation e-mail. If you're the gift giver, your refund will be processed to the original payment method.
Holiday Return Policy
Orders placed with IndieBound between November 1 and December 31 may be returned until January 31, subject to our refund policies.
